Course carries 16 credit hours toward Hutchinson Community College degree

This course is designed to teach students the basic skills of the collision repair trade and prepares them to continue their training in Automotive Collision Repair Technology II. Basic skills taught in this course include: sheet metal welding, dentrepair, plastic repair, panel replacement & alignment, paint preparation & application, automotive detailing, and estimating. This course utilizes a combination of classroom lecture and ample hands-on training.
