This course addresses the functions involved in the marketing of goods and services and provides students with the competencies necessary for successful marketing employment. The development of competencies in the areas of personal selling, advertising, visual merchandising, physical distribution, purchasing, market planning, product/service technology, and marketing mathematics enable students to become well-rounded marketing employees who contribute to the success of marketing businesses.
